The ship that worked!

I need to start this with a BIG apology to A! I misunderstood, and therefore misquoted her in one of my previous posts! I said that CC messed with her shipper heart in the X-Files, however I was mistaken! As A pointed out to me today, the Mulder and Scully ship is actually one of those that worked! When I said that her shipper heart was messed with, I was actually projecting – because, it was my shipper heart that was affected, and not by the fact that they did not get together, but by the fact that we did not SEE IT! We do not know exactly when they got it together, we are not 100% sure of how William was conceived, but 6 years after “The Truth” (the final X-Files series episode) we meet up with Mulder and Scully again in the movie “I want to believe”, and they are STILL together! A ship that worked!

Pet, abso-fucking-lutly agree with your entire post! The ‘powers that be’ force us to be miserable! They push the ship like a drug – and of course, when we are denied our drug, we get nasty (or miserable) – whatever, it’s all their fault!
Anyway, since I am struggling with a headache of note, I am going to have to keep this one short. However, I did want to mention another past ship that A and I shared. The Young Riders! A reminded me of this one yesterday! Kid and Lou! Yes, before Monday night X-Files, we had Sunday night Young Riders! Good times

I am now off to hit my big toe with a hammer (Dad's sure-fire way of getting rid of a headache).  I'll be back this weekend with a new head, a new ship and a new topic to bitch and moan about!
