Still Waters, Season 1, Episode 8: William is testing his new lie detector machine, or as he calls it a “Pneumograph”, a machine that measures physialogocial changes associated with duress. Long story short, when he is under duress, the blue liquid moves up the spiral tube. When Julia enters the room, while William is attached to the machine, and the blue liquid noticeably rises. When Julia is asked to read the questions, the liquid rises more rapidly. When asked if Murdoch is in love, the liquid shoots up the tube. I loved Crabtree’s comment “I don’t think anyone noticed that sir – you and her and the liquid”. Definitely a moment!
But, my favourite scene was the first of many of William’s fantasies, involving him and Julia. The kiss fantasy! No comments – check it out!
The Annoying Planet, season 1, episode 13. William checking out Juila’s ass at the train station (Willy, you little perve you). Then later in the episode when he tell her how lovely her hair is when she wears it loose!
Yes, the first dancing scene (the one where his hand grabs her ass) was cute, and funny - but, the end scene, when he knows she needs to be held and holds her, just melted my little shipper heart!
Special mention cos Julia saves her own ass! Normally, this would be where I get on my soap box and start on about how women like this, and my favourite Dr. Quinn are the reason women are where they are today, and can you imagine where we will be in another 200 years? I actually had this discussion with my friend M this weekend. We had the whole “man sperm farms” idea all planned out! But then dissed the idea cos everyone would probably only want Johnny Depp’s sperm, which would lead to the world being full of Depp offspring, and a serious problem for further reproduction (ok, maybe you had to be there!) But, the idea has merit but needs more thought!
Houdini Whodunnit. Season 2, episode 4. Murdoch finds out that Julia was arrested for skinny dipping, and immediately imagines her naked! Go Willy!
The Green Muse! Season 2, Episode 5 – one of my faves! Simply because of all the sucking-face!
Shades of Gray. Season 2, Episode 6 - only the beginning of the episode though – again, because of all the snoggage!
Wearwolves. Season 2, Episode 12. Yes, he is with Enid at the time (Puke!).
But, just look at how he looks at Julia (before the fantasy)
Then, his kissy fantasies involving Julia kind of make him realise that he wants to be with her, and he therefore breaks up with Enid.
Anything you can do. Season 2, Episode 13. Murdoch finally tells Julia that he wants to resume their relationship and climbs into the hot-air balloon with her to “see which way the wind takes us!”
